is defined as "lucid" dream in which you realize you are dreaming. The term "gloss" was coined by Frederik van Eeden, and indicates the clarity of mind that characterizes this state of consciousness.
Many of us have had, without realizing it, one or more lucid dreams throughout their lives. For example, do not you ever wake up from a frightening dream, just when you had realized that it was just a nightmare? It 's a very common example of lucidity, or realize that you are dreaming of being there, even if briefly and only in order to escape from a situation with the awakening unpleasant.
For those who do not have one, it is difficult to explain what makes lucid dreaming a dream so different from normal. First, for all his life it feels like a feeling of irrepressible enthusiasm for the incredible clarity of any sense. It seems impossible, but one of the experiments more common during the first lucid dreams is to see the visual, tactile, auditory, smell and taste. Every sense seems to work just like in real life. In fact, much better, because there are no physical defects such as myopia, deafness and so on. This is why in my dreams I'm amazed to be able to see in detail the entire landscape, while realizing that they suffer from myopia.
Another difference is that in lucid dreaming is possible to reason and remember just like in the waking state. Again, it is surprising to note that you can go much further, many artists and inventors, often found in lucid dreams solutions to their problems of unexpected creativity.
E 'right to clarify that there are different levels of lucidity. Often it can happen to become lucid, but completely unaware of the implications of the case. Sometimes, even knowing of being in a dream, you can forget that the characters you meet are merely representations of real people dream. Then, interacting with them, without risprofonda aware of it slowly in a common dream.
With a high level of clarity, thanks to the experience, you can instead treat the entire world of dreams as a result of the creativity of the dreaming mind, not by ourselves to situations that were created and creating them with the new one willpower.
The ability to control dreams is a skill to be developed in parallel with lucidity. In addition to being able to move without restrictions, you can fly, change and move objects up to move from one scene to another at will.
